OMG. So beyond obsessed with this designer: Collette Dinnigan.

OMG. If you love street fashion, print magazines, NY times, or just charming, inspiring photographers who are true to their craft, you MUST watch this documentary on Netflix.

Bill Cunningham: New York.

Best documentary I’ve seen in awhile.

Turned in some old gilt credit. Momma’s got a new badgley mischka bag that arrived today. I couldn’t be more giddy. Srsly, it’s been like 8 years since I’ve been this silly/happy about a new bag. Puuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrr. (Taken with instagram)

I went to the Met today and saw the Alexander McQueen special exhibit, “Savage Beauty”. It was a bit claustrophobic for me, but totally worth it.

Mister McQueen had some truly deranged ideas in his head, but certainly showed the world provoking, in-your-face fashion like the world had never seen before.

I had heard about this documentary in Vanity Fair earlier this year, so I was excited when it came out on Netflix Instant.

Watched it last night and loved it. People often don’t think about this, but models really have no union, no protections for a proper work environment, etc.

If you’ve ever wondered about the modeling industry and it’s ugly underbelly, this is sad, but telling portrayal of it.

Sara Ziff (the star and producer) also did a three-part follow on video series for the New York Times during fashion week as well, called The Cut.
